Election Day Volunteering Opportunities/Resources for Voters

1. For North county residents who need rides to the polls: sign up here:

2. For people who want to help give rides:  

   • a) Email Erica Williams at erica.williams@aredcircle.org 

   • b) Subject line: "I can drive August 7."

   • c) Give your name, area you'll be driving from, and best phone number to reach you at.

3. For people who want to "work the polls" (i.e. Stand a healthy distance away and yet aggressively proposition voters for certain candidates, great for former New Yorkers...):

   • Contact campaign managers or the candidates themselves, they are all hungry for this type of help for sure!

4. If anyone has trouble casting their ballot direct them to call:

   • Nonpartisan Election Protection Hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683). 

5. • Volunteers are needed to help monitor polls, provide information to voters about their rights, and to respond to calls the hotline  Flexible shifts are available.
